Travis Scott released the official visual for “When I’m Home,” the end credits song from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which Scott directed himself. He pounds a wooden staff on the table between phrases and calls out: “A face, a fleet, a war, a man, a thought, a trick—a trick to break the walls of Troy and burn it screaming to the ground!” The trick is the Trojan Horse. Near the end of the film, the bard and the staff return, closing the loop.

How did Travis Scott get the part?

By phone, and he did not believe it at first. “My phone went off and it just said Chris and I was thinking, ‘Okay I don’t know what this is about. Maybe he wants to go to a show,’” Scott told on The Tonight Show. “So I pick up and he’s like, ‘Would you be interested in acting in a movie?’ But I didn’t think it was for him. I thought it might be for somebody else.”

The friendship goes back to 2020, when Scott posted a handwritten note from Nolan praising his “Franchise” video.
