Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, records as Travis Scott. Raised in Missouri City, a suburb south of Houston, he spent his early years with his grandmother in South Park before moving in with his parents, and dropped out of the University of Texas at San Antonio to chase music. Kanye West signed him to GOOD Music and T.I. to Grand Hustle, and the mixtapes Owl Pharaoh and Days Before Rodeo built his reputation as a producer-minded artist who treats an album like a world. Rodeo, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and Astroworld established him as one of the defining voices of his generation, with Astroworld producing the number one single "Sicko Mode." He founded Cactus Jack Records, signing Don Toliver, Sheck Wes and Chase B, and built a second career in design and brand partnerships with Nike, Jordan and McDonald's. Utopia debuted at number one in 2023 and led into the Circus Maximus tour.
