Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, born September 10, 1998, records as Sheck Wes. Born in Harlem to Senegalese parents and raised Muslim, he moved to Milwaukee with his mother at five, lived there nine years and returned to New York at 14. He started making music at 11 and played high school basketball before a fashion scout pulled him into modeling, and he skipped a playoff game to walk in the Yeezy Season 3 unveiling at Madison Square Garden. He signed to Travis Scott's Cactus Jack and Kanye West's GOOD Music through Interscope in February 2018. "Mo Bamba" went viral and reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming one of the defining live-show records of its era, and his debut album Mudboy followed in October 2018.
