Terrence LeVarr Thornton, born May 13, 1977, records as Pusha T. Born in the Bronx and raised in Virginia Beach, he formed Clipse with his older brother Gene, who rapped as Malice, and the two were discovered by Pharrell Williams and signed to Star Trak. Lord Willin' produced "Grindin'" and "When the Last Time," and Hell Hath No Fury is regularly named one of the best rap albums of the 2000s. After Clipse split in 2010 he signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music following his verse on "Runaway," later serving as the label's president. My Name Is My Name, King Push, the seven-track Daytona and It's Almost Dry followed, the last two produced by West and Pharrell. His 2018 track "The Story of Adidon" ended his exchange with Drake. Clipse reunited for Let God Sort Em Out in 2025.
