George Albert Stone III, born May 11, 1994, records as EST Gee. He grew up in the Clarksdale Projects in Louisville, Kentucky, then in the southeastern part of the city, and took a football scholarship to Indiana State before transferring twice and dropping out in 2016. He was arrested for drug trafficking that year and sentenced to house arrest, and briefly played for the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2017. He started rapping during house arrest after watching Lil Baby on television, releasing his first song at the end of that year. Ion Feel Nun brought him national attention in 2020, and he signed to Yo Gotti's Collective Music Group in 2021. Bigger Than Life or Death reached number seven on the Billboard 200 behind "Lick Back" and "5500 Degrees," and I Never Felt Nun followed at number eight.
