Bobby Wardell Sandimanie III, born in 2001, records as Destroy Lonely. The Atlanta rapper is the son of Bone Crusher, and signed to Playboi Carti's Opium label, an Interscope imprint, in early 2021. His fifth mixtape No Stylist put him on the Billboard 200 for the first time in 2022, and his debut studio album If Looks Could Kill reached number 18 the following year. Rolling Stone has described his sound as dynamic and blaring, built on distorted synths, heavy low end and a detached delivery, and his aesthetic on dark clothing and designer labels has become a template for the wider Opium look. He tours and records closely with labelmates Ken Carson and Homixide Gang, and has confirmed a joint project with Carson.
