Born in Athens, Georgia, and raised in Gwinnett County alongside his nephew Takeoff and their childhood friend Offset, Quavo was a star high school quarterback before dropping out to pursue music. Together, the trio formed Migos and completely revolutionized hip-hop with their distinct, rapid-fire "triplet flow," exploding into the mainstream with their 2013 breakout hit "Versace" and dominating global charts with multi-platinum albums like Culture (2017) and its massive anthem "Bad and Boujee." Beyond the group, Quavo established himself as a highly sought-after solo feature artist, a frequent collaborator with Travis Scott (forming the duo Huncho Jack), and a notable actor and athletic trendsetter. Following a period of group tension and the devastating, tragic murder of Takeoff in late 2022, Quavo channeled his grief into his deeply reflective solo album Rocket Power (2023). Moving forward into a new artistic era, he has reunited with Offset in the studio while dropping music executive-produced by Pharrell Williams.
