Zaire Miylaun Stewart, born June 25, 1995, records as Lady London. Born in the Bronx to a Jamaican mother and a Trinidadian father and raised in her grandmother's house in East Orange, New Jersey, she started writing poems at 11 as an outlet for anger. She earned a bachelor's degree in sports medicine and chemistry from Howard University and a master's in global medicine from the University of Southern California, and originally planned to become an orthopedic surgeon. A freestyle she posted from her car in March 2018 went viral and led to the recurring Lady Londays series. She released "Woosah" independently in 2019, followed by the singles "Money Over" and "Never," the mixtape Lady Like: The Boss Tape in 2022 and the compilation album S.O.U.L. (Signs of Universal Love) in 2023.
