Kenny Segal, born December 3, 1979, is a record producer and DJ based in Los Angeles, also known as Syndakit. He was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, played cello in school orchestras, and attended the University of Southern California on a computer engineering scholarship before switching his major to audio recording. He started out playing drum and bass at the Konkrete Jungle party in the 1990s, met rappers from the Project Blowed collective there, and moved into hip-hop, becoming one of the first performers at Low End Theory. His 2015 production for Milo's So the Flies Don't Come began a run of acclaimed collaborative albums including Hiding Places and Maps with billy woods, Purple Moonlight Pages with R.A.P. Ferreira, and Anime, Trauma and Divorce with Open Mike Eagle. He is a member of Team Supreme, The Kleenrz and the Jefferson Park Boys.
