Juice WRLD

Born and raised in the Chicago area, Higgins learned to play multiple instruments as a child before beginning his music career on SoundCloud in 2015, heavily inspired by a unique mix of mid-2000s pop-punk, rock, and Chicago drill music. He skyrocketed to global superstardom in 2018 with his diamond-certified, melancholy anthem "Lucid Dreams," which anchored his critically acclaimed debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance. Over the next year, he dominated the music industry, releasing the chart-topping album Death Race for Love and collaborating with the industry's biggest stars while openly tackling themes of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse in his lyrics. Tragically, his meteoric rise was cut short on December 8, 2019, when he suffered a fatal accidental drug overdose at Chicago's Midway International Airport at just 21 years old, leaving behind a massive cultural legacy and an immense vault of unreleased music that continues to fuel posthumous albums like Legends Never Die and Fighting Demons.
