Jason S. Hunter, born July 6, 1970, records as Inspectah Deck. Born in the Bronx and raised in the Park Hill Projects in Clifton, Staten Island, he went to school with Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah and became a founding member of Wu-Tang Clan. He was the second most featured member on Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and delivered opening verses on "C.R.E.A.M.," "Protect Ya Neck" and "Triumph" that are regularly cited among the best in the group's catalog. He built a reputation as a low-key technician against the louder personalities around him, and moved into production on Wu-Tang Forever. His solo albums include Uncontrolled Substance and The Movement, and since 2013 he has been one third of Czarface alongside 7L & Esoteric.
