Isis Naija Gaston, born January 1, 2000, records as Ice Spice. Born and raised in the Bronx to an African-American father who rapped underground and a Dominican mother, she wrote poetry and freestyles through school and started making music in college after meeting producer RiotUSA, who has produced nearly all of her catalog. "Munch (Feelin' U)" went viral in late 2022 and led to a deal with 10K Projects and Capitol. Her debut EP Like..? reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 and produced the top ten single "Princess Diana" with Nicki Minaj. In 2023 she also charted top ten with "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" alongside PinkPantheress, "Karma" with Taylor Swift and "Barbie World" with Minaj and Aqua. She won Best New Artist at the BET Awards and released her debut album Y2K! in 2024.
