Future

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Future began his musical journey under the wing of his first cousin, Rico Wade—the late mastermind behind the legendary Southern hip-hop collective the Dungeon Family—who pushed him to sharpen his songwriting as an escape from street life. After generating massive underground hype with a tireless string of local mixtapes, he broke into the mainstream with his 2012 debut album, Pluto. Over the next decade, Future built a reputation as one of the most prolific artists in the industry, dropping definitive trap masterpieces like DS2 (2015), making history by releasing two different number-one albums in back-to-back weeks (FUTURE and Hndrxx in 2017), and dominating charts with his blockbuster Metro Boomin collaborative albums We Don't Trust You and We Still Don't Trust You, alongside Mixtape Pluto.
