Ariyan Arslani, born December 2, 1983, records as Action Bronson. Raised in Flushing, Queens, by an Albanian Muslim father and an American Jewish mother, he worked as a cook in his father's Mediterranean restaurant and hosted an online cooking show before a broken leg pushed him into rap full time. He released the mixtape Bon Appetit ….. Bitch!!!!! and the album Dr. Lecter in 2011, then built a cult following through Blue Chips with Party Supplies and Rare Chandeliers with The Alchemist. He signed to Warner Bros. in 2012, later moved to Vice Records, and released his major label debut Mr. Wonderful in 2015. Bronson also built a second career on television, hosting the travel and food series Fuck, That's Delicious and The Untitled Action Bronson Show, and has published cookbooks and a weight loss memoir.
