What is the Don Toliver Nitrous tour?

Nitrous is a second leg added on to the Octane World Tour rather than a separate trek. Toliver’s team announced it in late June 2026 after the first leg sold out across 31 cities, adding 19 new North American arena dates plus an overseas run through Europe and the United Kingdom in the fall. Live Nation and Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack are behind the production.

The first leg set a high bar for guest appearances. Travis Scott, SZA, Peso Pluma, Malcolm Todd and Sheck Wes all turned up across those dates, while SahBabii, SoFaygo and DJ Chase B handled support duties on the spring and early summer arena run. Setlists have leaned on Octane material alongside catalog cuts from Heaven or Hell, Life of a DON and Love Sick.

The Nitrous leg runs 37 dates in total: 19 North American arena shows opening August 4, 2026 in Sacramento and closing September 6, 2026 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, then an 18-date European and UK stretch across October and November. The Houston date on August 11, 2026 carries the most weight of the group, since Toliver is a Houston native and the city has functioned as the emotional center of every album cycle he has run.

European and UK dates

Is Nitrous also a new Don Toliver album?

Toliver has teased Nitrous as his next album and framed it as a direct sequel to Octane, but no release date, tracklist or lead single has been confirmed. The tease landed in mid-July 2026 and followed his July 13, 2026 social post about locking in and “the rise of the empire,” language that has since attached itself to the album cycle. How big was Octane?

Octane arrived January 30, 2026 through Donnway & Co and Cactus Jack under license to Atlantic Records, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — Toliver’s first solo chart-topper. The album has since passed one billion Spotify streams, and the tour announcement billed it as the most-streamed hip-hop album of 2026, with “E85” and “Body” as the two biggest streaming hip-hop songs of the year. All 17 tracks charted simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs.

The record features Yeat, Rema, Travis Scott, Teezo Touchdown and SahBabii, and was built around Toliver’s long-running fascination with cars and rally racing culture, recorded across California sessions and during a European tour. A remix EP, Choptane, made with DJ Candlestick, followed on April 3, 2026.

What happens next?

The immediate thing to watch is opening night itself. Toliver used the first Octane leg to bring out heavyweight guests unannounced, and a Sacramento surprise would be an efficient way to convert the tour name into album momentum. The other marker is a lead single: an album teased in July with a tour running into late November leaves a wide window, and a first record dropped mid-run would be the clearest signal that Nitrous is close.
