What is Dominique?
Dominique is Lil Baby’s own album, not a joint project. He first teased it after his 2025 album WHAM with a February 2025 target, then told fans in March 2025 it was “dropping in eight weeks,” Revolt reported. It was shelved in favor of The Leaks, an album built around songs that had already leaked.
In August 2025, Baby told streamer PlaqueBoyMax that Dominique would follow about four weeks after The Leaks. That window also passed without a release.
Have Lil Baby and Playboi Carti worked together before?
Yes. The two appear together on “Let’s Do It,” featuring Skooly, from The Leaks, which arrived in December 2025. Carti’s most recent solo album is MUSIC, released in March 2025.
When will Dominique come out?
Update, October 16, 2026: Dominique still has no release date. Lil Baby confirmed in March 2026 that he was working on it. In early October 2026 he posted a November 6 date hinting at a new album, but did not name the project, and there is no confirmation that it is Dominique.
Correction, October 16, 2026: An earlier version of this story described Dominique as a joint project between Lil Baby and Playboi Carti. Dominique is Lil Baby’s solo album; Carti appears in the studio footage.
