Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, born June 14, 1993, records as Gunna. Raised in College Park, Georgia, by his mother alongside four older brothers, he started making music at 15 and released a mixtape as Yung Serg in 2013. A mutual friend introduced him to Young Thug, and he signed to YSL Records through 300 Entertainment in 2016. Drip Season 3 broke him nationally, and Drip Harder with Lil Baby reached number four on the Billboard 200 behind the diamond-certified "Drip Too Hard." Wunna and DS4Ever both debuted at number one. He was arrested in the 2022 YSL RICO indictment and released the following year after entering an Alford plea, a decision that drew heavy criticism across rap. A Gift & a Curse answered it directly with "fukumean," his biggest solo single, and One of Wun followed.
