Ye is set to perform in Tirana, Albania on July 11, 2026, and Albanian authorities are constructing a temporary 60,000-capacity venue called Eagle Stadium specifically for the event.

The Ye Albania concert will take place at a site along the Tirana-Durres axis. Albania’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports confirmed the construction plans, with the venue being built adjacent to existing infrastructure to accommodate the anticipated crowd. Presale for tickets is scheduled to begin May 5, 2026.

Eagle Stadium: Albania Builds for the Ye Albania Concert 2026

The temporary structure is named Eagle Stadium and is being erected near the existing Air Albania Stadium in Tirana, which holds 22,500. Officials expect significantly higher attendance, prompting the decision to expand capacity to 60,000 for the one-night show.

Albania’s Ministry of Culture stated the event is “an obligation to welcome and facilitate the development of such events that bring numerous benefits to tourism and the economy,” according to Balkan Insight. The ministry also noted that the show will have an “extraordinary impact on the promotion of tourism and the local economy.”

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama publicly confirmed the concert, sharing footage of Ye’s previous performances on social media alongside the official announcement.

The stage design reportedly mirrors the rotating globe used during Ye’s April 2026 SoFi Stadium shows in Los Angeles, suggesting a continuation of the same production scale.

European Tour Setbacks Preceded the Albania Booking

The Albania show comes after a string of cancellations and bans across Europe. Ye was announced as headliner for London’s Wireless Festival in 2026, but the booking was quickly reversed following public backlash over his past antisemitic statements and behavior. A spokesperson for London Mayor Sadiq Khan stated that Ye’s comments are “offensive and wrong, and simply not reflective of London’s values.” The festival was ultimately shut down.

Ye has also been banned from entering the UK and Australia. A scheduled show in Chorzów, Poland was cut due to similar pressure.

Not all European dates have collapsed. Prague is still on the calendar, with Ye scheduled to perform at the Chuchle Arena racecourse on July 25. Additional confirmed international dates include New Delhi, Istanbul, Spain, and Portugal as part of the ongoing world tour.

What’s Next for the Ye 2026 World Tour

The Albania concert is self-financed through ticket sales, meaning the event’s financial risk sits outside of government funding. Presales open May 5, with general access to follow.

Human rights groups in Albania have voiced opposition to the show. Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj told reporters that hosting the concert “legitimizes an individual who has often used his popularity to justify and glorify Nazism.” Isa Myzyraj, head of the Association of Journalists of Albania, called the government’s decision incomprehensible given that Prime Minister Rama delivered a pro-Israel speech at the Knesset earlier in the year.

Despite the controversy, Albania’s government has moved forward with the booking and construction, framing it as an economic and tourism opportunity.
