Aaron Cook, who records as Stove God Cooks, is a rapper from Syracuse, New York. He grew up in a musical family, teaching a gospel group with his mother at his grandfather's church before his brother introduced him to Nas and Big Pun. Busta Rhymes signed him to The Conglomerate Entertainment in 2015 and mentored him through the rest of the decade, then introduced him to Roc Marciano, who produced his debut album Reasonable Drought in full. That record, released in March 2020, established both his stage name and his reputation, and is regularly named among the best rap albums of the decade. He signed to Westside Gunn's Griselda Records, debuting on Flygod Is an Awesome God 2, and became one of the collective's most in-demand guests. He appeared on Clipse's "F.I.C.O." in 2025.
