Clifford Ian Fernando Simpson, born July 16, 1996, records as Kevin Abstract. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, to an extremely religious Mormon family, he began producing at 11 and ran away from home at 15, later moving to Georgia to live with his sister. At 13 he founded the internet collective AliveSinceForever by recruiting members from a Kanye West fan forum, and that group became Brockhampton in 2014. As its founder and de facto leader he released eight albums with the group, including the Saturation trilogy, the number one album Iridescence and Ginger with its double platinum single "Sugar." His solo catalog runs from MTV1987 and American Boyfriend through Arizona Baby, Blanket, the mixtape Glue and Blush in 2025. He also co-founded the label Video Store and directs much of his own visual work.
