ELUCID, often written as E L U C I D, is a rapper and producer from New York City. He was born in Jamaica, Queens, to a singer mother and a bassist father, grew up in Deer Park on Long Island and later moved to East New York, Brooklyn. He is one half of Armand Hammer with billy woods and has also worked in the groups Cult Favorite, Lessondary, Nostrum Grocers with Milo and Small Bills with The Lasso. His solo run began with Save Yourself in 2016 and continued through I Told Bessie, Revelator and Interference Pattern, the last released only through Bandcamp. Jon Pareles of The New York Times named Revelator one of the ten best albums of 2024. His writing is dense, political and abstract, delivered over corroded, noise-adjacent production, and he released I Guess U Had to Be There with Swiss producer Sebb Bash in 2026.
