Trippie Redd’s Two NDA Albums: How ‘#NDA’ Followed ‘NDA’ Two Weeks Later

Trippie Redd confirmed the NDA era was two albums, not one, in an Instagram story posted on August 12, 2026, and both are now out. The Trippie Redd NDA two albums plan delivered NDA on August 14, 2026 and the companion project #NDA on August 28, 2026, exactly two weeks apart.

What is the Trippie Redd NDA two albums plan?

The plan was revealed in a 22-second selfie video rather than a static graphic. Trippie Redd filmed himself talking to camera in a dark room lit almost entirely in purple, with a single red bulb burning overhead. The text overlay held unchanged for the full clip: “NDA VS #NDA” across the middle, with #NDA underlined. Beneath NDA he wrote 8.14.26. Beneath #NDA he wrote 8._.26, leaving the day as an underscore. At the bottom, two words: “Let’s go.”

The blank day was filled in eight days later. On August 19, 2026 Trippie Redd posted two possible covers for #NDA and let fans vote on which to use. On August 20 he confirmed the date on X with a post reading “#NDA ALBUM 8.28.” The tracklist followed on August 25, and the album arrived on August 28, 2026, exactly two weeks after NDA.

What is the difference between NDA and #NDA?

NDA is the big, feature-heavy record; #NDA is the shorter, more personal one. The first runs 25 tracks and 68 minutes with 14 guests, including Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red and Kodak Black. The second runs 18 tracks and 51 minutes with only three guests, and Trippie Redd carries 15 of its songs alone.

Critics heard the split too. Ratings Game Music graded #NDA a B-minus in its review of the album, describing it as more personal and emotional than its predecessor, while most of the criticism aimed at NDA focused on its 25-song length.

What is on the #NDA tracklist?

#NDA opens with “DontWaitForMe” and closes with “Miss My Dogs.” The producer duo thr6x and whysobored shape its core, working on five tracks, while 808-H handles four and Bosley four. ATL Jacob, who produced “Meet The Redds” on NDA, returns for “Emo Pop.”

“Rock the Bed” carries the album’s most eye-catching credits. Its writers include Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Timbaland, which points to a sample or interpolation, though the source has not been officially detailed. Did #NDA use the leftover 2025 songs?

No. Before release, the most logical theory was that #NDA would clear out the material stranded by the long rollout, and this article flagged that as an inference rather than a fact. The final tracklist rules it out.

None of the 2025 singles, “World Boss,” “Sketchy,” “Checklist,” “Stay The Same” and “Can’t Count Me Out,” appear on either album, and neither do the two songs from the Woke Up / The Face EP. Chris Brown and Swae Lee, both named on a whiteboard tracklist Trippie Redd posted in September 2025, are absent from both records as well. #NDA is a separate body of work built with a largely different production team, not a vault release.

That leaves the question of the stranded material open. The project cycled through several titles before landing on NDA, teased as a Life’s a Trip sequel in December 2023, announced as Live Love Laugh Die in September 2024 and briefly called Judge Me Now, and Trippie Redd has not said whether the unused songs will surface later.

How did the two albums perform?

NDA debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard 200 with about 16,000 album-equivalent units, reported on August 25, 2026, and reached No. 12 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It is his lowest-charting album since A Love Letter to You 2 in 2017. No Billboard 200 position has been reported for #NDA.

For scale, A Love Letter to You 4 opened at No. 1 in 2019 with about 104,000 units and Mansion Musik reached No. 3 in 2023. Releasing two albums two weeks apart split attention across both records, and neither came close to those numbers.

Trippie Redd is taking both albums on the road. The Non-Disclosure Agreement Tour opens November 2, 2026 at The Fillmore Minneapolis and closes December 22, 2026 at the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, with 32 dates across the United States and Toronto.
